Acrimony or Harmony?

News without #BBCbias undermining Jeremy Corbyn is hard to find.

Tom Watson and Jeremy Corbyn issued a harmonious joint statement today saying they "recognised the right of groups across the spectrum of Labour's broad church to discuss their views and try to influence the party so long as they operate within the rules".

And "No one speaks for the leadership except the leadership themselves and their spokespeople,"

However, The BBC felt obliged to suggest acrimony with the headline.

Dear Theressa, #sameoldtories

Esteemed Prime Minister and Leader of the Conservative Party, thank you for your email.

I doubt that you are are grammatically illiterate, but after the meaningless "Brexit means Brexit," mantle what am I supposed to make of your email, that claims that the EU referendum was about "changing the people for whom it works, forever".....  "and that applies to everyone." Excuse me?! Gobbledegook.

Theressa, you did not put that on the side of the bus. I double checked that. I found nothing about “changing people” . More about saving and increasing funding for the NHS.

I suggest you sack the illiterate person who wrote your meaningless e-mail assuming it wasn’t yourself.

I rule nothing out but it was clearly not intended for anyone interested in saving and increasing funding for the NHS.

Tory Laura cannot resist blaming Jeremy Corbyn for the Hammond / May Election Promise betrayal and U-turn fiasco.

The main stream media are symbiotically obsessed with undermining Jeremy Corbyn even when he is on the side of the angels.

During last week’s PMQT the MSM applauded Hammond’s prepared jokes as if that justified the abject failure of his budget.

It took a while for the rats to gather and gnaw on their own; blue on blue Tory flesh.

This week the MSM blamed Jeremy Corbyn for not being rude enough about Hammond and May. I am not at all convinced that sinking that low was necessary and makes me feel good and proud to be a Corbyn supporter.

JC may well be a saint. I would have told May and Hammond and Kuensburg to fuck off.

How to Buy A General Election

According to BBC Newsnight, Conservative Central Office have admitted that they broke the rules designed to prevent political parties buying votes in the last general election.

The abuse is a criminal offence and the Tories are now blaming each other and wondering who is going to gaol. However Tory Central Office are content because they expect to receive a fine which they are happy to pay because money is no object when it comes to buying an election.

Chancellor Hammond increased National Insurance Contributions for the Self Employed in this Spring budget, contrary to an unequivocal election promise not to do so.

It is one thing to break that contract with the electorate and the self employed, but to then justify doing so with yet more weasel sophistry is beyond the pale.

Apparently the self employed alone are to make this sacrifice explicitly to pay for the under funded social care budget.

Theresa May feigned theatrical guffawing when Jeremy Corbyn challenged her on the "acute social care crisis" in the PMQs that preceded Hammond’s Budget. Trump would not have sunk that low, and even Tories are now worried about May's care-mask slipping.

Many self employed workers would have voted Tory in the last election and not all of them would be high earning self employed barristers.

If I were a self employed Uber driver working for the minimum wage or one of the Amazon drivers delivering packages with no employment rights, I would be thanking Jeremy Corbyn who has to face this awful woman every Wednesday including Women’s Day.

On Marr this morning Baroness Chakrabarti was not asked about Policy and had to persist against the predictable assault on the Labour leader.

The BBC is an issue free zone when it comes to Corbyn. The relentless leadership question is rhetorical and banal and wilfully undermining of the Labour leader.

When the BBC covered the byelection results they explained that all canvassers were confronted on the door step by would-be voters questioning Jeremy Corbyn's leadership.

However, why would Tony Blair bring this up at this time immediately before a double by-election when it might affect the outcomes. Who Speaks of Betrayal?

#Brexit #GuardianBias #edvulliamy

Ed Vulliamy today in The Guardian regards the votes in favour of igniting Article 50 as an act of betrayal and a race to "the bottom of the xenophobic sewer."

Who inhabits this "xenophobic sewer"?

Well, Vulliamy might have started by indicting the 52% who voted for Brexit, and then moved on to all Tories including those that took a principled vote to Remain, Theresa May for example who nevertheless keeps her nose clean throughout. He might have included the majority of Labour MPs who found it incumbent on themselves to respect the referendum outcome.

Ed Vulliamy has not however accused the whole of this grouping who share this view, he only accuses Jeremy Corbyn in his article, of "betrayal" and of occupying the “xenophobic sewer”.

This is surely an actionable libel.

But worse than that, Vulliamy has just made Labour’s imminent by-election chances a little tougher. Paul Nuttal now has a Guardian stick to wield and he will use it this coming Thursday.

Who speaks of Betrayal?

16 February 2017

Jeremy Corbyn was found responsible by Jonathan Freedland of the Guardian today for Theresa May’s breaking of the conservative pledge "to give shelter to 3,000 of the most desperate people on Earth, children fleeing war and devastation?"

Not at all sure how he, Freedland felt justified in tainting Corbyn with that charge. As a journalist, Freedland seems to suck.

Apparently Corbyn is held responsible for every Tory misdemeanour in opposition.

Was Donald trump a self made man or was his fortune handed to him by his daddy? The latter it seems.

Did Donald Trump add value to his inheritance in real terms? Not a penny.

Authentic Trousers

#BBCbias #Hippo

Dear Conservative Campaign Headquarters, thank you for your email.

You said , "On Tuesday, the Labour leader U-turned, saying that Labour will not take control over immigration"

Not at all sure that Jeremy Corbyn said that but he, like Theresa May, voted to REMAIN and as such they both endorsed the notion of Free Movement within the EU whilst wanting to reform the EU albeit for different reasons.

If you wish to undermine Jeremy Corbyn on these terms, it would also be incumbent on you to undermine your very own Theresa May, since she voted for REMAIN and is therefore in favour of Free Movement. She kept it quiet, but that is what she did with her binary choice.

Obviously you and The Guardian and the BBC and the right wing press are out to trap and undermine Jeremy Corbyn on this subject and have given May a free rein to have a free reign.

However, Corbyn is the only authentic voice for social justice. Theresa May has authentic but inconsequential leather trousers. Very brown they are.

Well done Jeremy Corbyn for disappointing the BBC and the Guardian and for not falling into their "free movement" traps.

Both have failed to avoid reporting what Jeremy actually said on the subject because that did not provide them with an opportunity to undermine him.

So then came the snide smears.

Suzanne Moore's arrogant bile in the Guardian says more about Suzanne Moore's vanity, than the views of Jeremy Corbyn and what he has said on the subject of "free movement". Had she contradicted his views that would be to expose herself as a bigot.

Where Suzanne Moore provides no evidence or context, The Canary did otherwise. The Guardian and the BBC continue to fail to impress.

The BBC has taken it way too far.

Fake News

Laura Kuenssberg is the political editor of the BBC, who was recently feted by the Main Stream Media, who in turn have a questionable interest in this false story by Laura Kuenssberg, which undermined Jeremy Corbyn.

The BBC Trust has now upheld their earlier decision that Laura Kuenssberg, who represents BBC News, had misrepresented and undermined Jeremy Corbyn with Fake News.

Other examples of Laura’s misdemeanors are available on these pages.

Laura Kuenssberg is not accused of being wrong because she is a “woman” and such desperate peddled nonsense by the MSM is patronising to “women” and fails to obfuscate this story. Tory Laura Kuenssberg is at fault because she faked the news and damaged Jeremy Corbyn’s reputation; it is not the other way around.

Person of the Year

Jeremy Corbyn

“Principled, democratic, honest and fair minded. In politics, these values count as radical,”

This is what we thought at this time last year but now we can apply the adjectives, tenacious and accomplished.

Jeremy Corbyn has stoically faced down a remarkable degree of prejudiced personal abuse from the right wing gutter press, and the wider main stream media.

The parliamentary Labour Party, the BBC and even The Guardian failed to oppose the bilious  commentary on Jeremy Corbyn. In fact they knowingly accommodated the trash media, and gave them a disproportionate voice, knowing it would undermine Jeremy Corbyn.

Never do the MSM question the policies of Jeremy Corbyn. There is nothing in that for them or Theresa May who’s pantomime PMQS debates are weak and meaningless posturing. Jeremy has maintained his integrity and even admits to “learning on the job”, Nevertheless he has successfully rendered May intellectually redundant.

Donald Trump

The antithesis of Jeremy Corbyn is this man. The MSM would have us believe that Corbyn and Trump have something in common and that would of course be the so call “populism”, ie popularity.

That would only be a good point if you don’t want to discuss actual policy. The MSM including the BBC are failing and that became the story of 2016.

The MSM are charged with the corruption of the political process.

Media mogul man Rupert Murdoch is the foreign king-maker deciding who will be our next Prime Minister.

When James Murdoch faced questioning by the Leveson enquiry he claimed the BBC had unfair commercial advantage over SKY.

Then followed the Tory trimming of the BBC budget, a corruption and a compromise of BBC independence and indeed bias.

Unfunny Hilarity

#BBCbias #Hippo #MayDay

Today on PMQs Corbyn challenged May on the subject of New Tory welfare benefit sanctions, the issue and concern of  Ken Loach’s new movie, I Daniel Blake, awarded the Palme D'Or at Cannes.

The Guardian Online picked up on what Jeremy Corbyn had said and which I personally believe to be true.

He said "It’s time we ended this institutional barbarity against the most vulnerable people in the system."

Good point said the Guardian, but then they said that May's response was equally effective and a match for Corbyn.

She said "The Labour party is drifting away from the views of working-class people. It is this (Tory) party that knows how to support them."

This mind boggling claim is ever more remarkable given the endorsement of the Guardian, claiming that Theresa May’s response was somehow justified. The Guardian therefore continues to undermine Corbyn instinctively and without justification or reason.

How did the BBC Online report on PMQs?

The BBC had little to say about the matter just, 79 words more or less following the Guardian lead, but did however dedicate 383 words of unfunny "hilarity" describing Theresa May’s “hilarious” mistake regarding the birth of Corbyn’s Grandson. Its the way she says ‘em apparently.

This of course says a lot more about the sycophancy of the BBC coverage of May, that they had so little or no space to reflect on the "institutional barbarity" discussed by Ken Loach and Jeremy Corbyn.

What exactly is a Marxist?

20 September 2016

David Dimbleby knowingly referred to John McDonnell as a "Marxist" on last week’s BBC Question Time.

And just what exactly is a Marxist?

Dimbleby was of course using "Marxist" as a toxic shorthand signal to his audience, his panel and Daily Mail readers everywhere who have no clue about what a Marxist might amount to. The panel of cronies duly took DimbleDon's lead and abused McDonnell accordingly, as they simultaneously accused McDonnell of abusing others.

We know that Margaret Thatcher was not a Marxist, because she believed there is no such thing as "society".  That was of course the kind of nonsense that set us all on a course of Tory and Blairite ideological "privatisation."

At least we now all know what "privatisation" is and that handle is now so toxic that even Daily Mail readers are likely to bulk at the prospect of any more of it. The Tories are obliged to lie about their continuing plans for ever more privatisation and the Blairites continue to claim that they are free of blame.

Yes, even the dumb arse Daily Mail readers are a little bit Marxist without even knowing it.

Sadiq Khan has written to me and says I should take advice from the polls.

Owen Smith has also written to me unconvincingly. Shifty.

I have to say that the Labour Leadership contest is becoming more interesting than the Olympics.

Because of The Mayor’s advice I am going to move on and assume Jeremy Corbyn will be elected leader of the Labour Party in due course as widely assumed and predicted by the polls. This does suggest that the leadership contest will be exposed as bizarrely unequal and unnecessary.

However, Sadiq Khan would have me and all other Labour Members change our preference of Labour leader, citing other "Polls". He was vague about that but this is his only reasoning and that buoys me up optimistically.

I say, “Sadiq Khan, do not interfere with my free will. Polls determine what others might want and not what I might want. If you are a Blairite then say so openly, otherwise please butt out.”

Sadiq Khan also tells me I should vote for Owen Smith because he has achieved very much. But then we all gaped and wondered how this much achievement occurred without being noticed by anyone at all.

I am going to assume that the Murdoch, Blairite Main Stream Media and the Westminster Bubble are affronted by the notion of an old man with impeccable integrity would dare sweep away the cozy status quo they all so covet and adore.

I am left with the fantasy that Andrew Neil is posing in his mirror resplendent in his underpants contemplating his best looking TV reaction shot when this news breaks. He thinks he is cool but when this happens, he will break wind.

Owen would see his task as adopting Jeremy Corbyn's policies; a no-brainer since he needs to appeal to the Labour Party membership who, let’s face it, support Jeremy Corbyn's policies.

He therefore is obliged to undermine, if not smear Jeremy at the same time, but on what grounds?

Perhaps the references to Jeremy Corbyn's age is a clue to his thinking? Jeremy’s lifetime commitment to these policies compared to Owen Smith's lunchtime conversion to the very same policies is noted.

Age discrimination is of course illegal, and repugnant, lest we forget.

The only way Owen Smith can pull that off is to say what he does not mean and hope that nobody might notice. But we have noticed Owen.

Dodgy Dave

#PanamaPapers #hippo #shoestringonline

Dennis Skinner refused to withdraw the unparliamentary adjective "dodgy" yesterday, and why should he?

Before the Panama Papers materialised, Dave used that very word, "dodgy",  to describe tax avoiding schemes and particularly so in order to traduce Jimmy Carr’s reputation with moralistic rightousness.

He said, "People work hard, they pay their taxes, they save up to go to one of his shows. They buy the tickets. He is taking the money from those tickets and he, as far as I can see, is putting all of that into some very "dodgy" morally wrong tax avoiding schemes."

Post Panama papers, Cameron has applauded Jimmy Carr for rearranging his tax affairs, something Cameron failed to say until he was caught with his privileged spoilt pants down around his ankles.

Obviously you can’t compare Jimmy Carr with Cameron, because Carr earned the money he invested, and Cameron’s cash was gifted to him.

The Panamanian List of Names

#PanamaPapers #hippo #shoestringonline

The idea that the filthy rich pay their share of tax is so discredited that it barely deserves consideration.

The naming and shaming of tax avoiders, who should know better, might just be the wake up call for, and the downfall of, the Tory alternative.

David Cameron regards his father's tax arrangements, and his inheritance as "private", but his "policy" of challenging aggressive tax avoidance was, however unconvincing, a promise and an unequivocal pledge unless we are all deaf, dumb, and blind.

Donald Trump failed to publish his tax returns. Yes, the is a global scandal uncovered by the Panamanian whistle blower.

The poor and the disabled have been humiliated and shamed by their dependency on the state. But now each tax avoider in turn will be named and shamed and reminded that the train has left the station, to use or misuse Jeremy Hunt's metaphor for a political apocalypse.

The first name on a very long list is familiar...

Asleep on the Job

3 Apr 2016

Sajid Javid has now said on Andrew Marr (BBC) that reports that he blocked tariffs on Chinese imports including steel were "misleading". In fact he repeated the irreconcilable opposite assertion that he was leading the EU with specific steel related tariffs. The conversations he had with the EU are hardly plausible given the actual UK vote against tariffs including steel.

He also confirmed “conversations” with TATA steel and pre-knowledge of last week's Mumbai TATA conference, contradicting other accounts that he was unaware of the TATA meeting. Hence the Sajid Javid "business" trip to Australia with his daughter.

TATA have already denied conversations with Sajid Javid that he and other Tory spinners refer to as gospel.

Asleep on the Job

If there was ever an import-export tariff war between Britain and China it was never a conflict that Britain was going to win alone, without European unified clout.

China was about to close the door on British goods including steel because it is now in their interest to do so, and when it happened our Tory government was asleep.

Europe has the scale and the motivation to confront Chinese dumping and Tariffs but our little Englanders in Downing Street were so full of themselves that they failed to support, and in fact blocked a unified European initiative to resist and respond to those inevitable Chinese tariffs.

They also failed to see it coming or apply due diligence.

British taxpayers finance Tory Sajid Javid's department which has oversight of British Interests.

Nicky Morgan defends George Osborne's Toxic Tory Spring Budget, March 2016

Which Tory is Lying?

According to Nicky Morgan who has been out there defending Osborne's "mistake" on all the media platforms with that ever-startled look of a rabbit caught in the headlights, the Tory Cabinet including IDS, were all briefed collectively before the budget was announced by George Osborne.

IDS says otherwise of course.

What gives?

“We listen and learn from mistakes," said Osborne today without clarifying who the "we" were and pointedly unapologetic to the disabled recipients of PIPs who were scared to death last week by the “mistake”.

Which Tory is lying?

#IDSresignation #disabilty

Iain Duncan Smith claims to have been given no notice of the "disability" welfare cuts announced by George Osborne's Spring budget last week.

If we are to applaud politicians for their ability to disguise their politcal objectives, then this cuts the IDS biscuit. On Marr this morning he would have us believe that he is politically left of Osborne and Cameron which is some mother of a claim to make.

I find myself believing him because I have written so much copy exposing Cameron and Osborne as hippos, fakes, and political A-hole disingenuous mavericks.

But nobody saw this happening within hours of Osborne's big day with the rouge dispatch box.

Iain Duncan Smith. Left of Cameron?

Tory Democracy

On BBC Question Time Justine Greening discussed and contrasted our electoral system with the US system that may soon give the world a President Donald Trump. She explained that this would not happen in Britain because we have the "first past the post" electoral system, as if that were a panacea.

The undemocratic "first past the post" gave the Tories the power to do as they please for five years and they are busy demonstrating how very bad that is for democracy.

Our Prime Minister, and Jeremy Hunt are lying as if the truth were a dispensable unnecessary distraction, in our particular British brand of flawed democracy.

A 23.5 per cent share of the electorate, is not a democratic mandate, however often the Tories continue to claim that it is.

Hunt and Cameron's lies, so what?

Yesterday’s Mother Theresa.

Today’s Doctor Strangelove.

#sameoldtories #ImWithCorbyn

Theresa May promised to give opportunities to poor children yesterday. 24 hours later, Mayday exposed herself politically as yet another opportunist  Hippo prepared to contradict herself at will.  In the Trident debate today she stated publicly that she is prepared to kill 100’s thousands of innocent children.

If you are offended by the NRA logic of the ostentatious baring of arms in order to defend yourself then just maybe we should take a hard look at these Westminster nutters with a new leader.

The bombs possessed by Nato are enough to destroy at least five earth planets. There is only one Planet Earth, and even if you were ever prepared to countenance the murder of innocent children on ideological grounds, Trident is not required as an disincentive.

This is not an “A” level political science lesson.

Will peace ever get a chance?

Apocalypse Brexitus

Mayday’s Plan for Brexit?

“We are ALL in this together.” BS

These were stories inspired by the financial mess that we are still in, and other hot political topics of the day.

Most of us are suffering but some are profiting.

The most conspicuous profit and consumption is by those that contributed to the mess that they created.

Now we are in the blame game which reared its ugly head almost immediately after the Northern Rock story broke in 2007.

This provoked this series of articles featuring the issue of  political hypocrisy.

David Cameron is the most obvious target because he has the most to gain, opportunistically.

Was he shouting before for more Banking regulation before 2007?

Was he heard thumping his fist on Tory Fleet Street editors doors, demanding to be heard, and demanding more regulation of the Banking Sector.

And would that have excused the greed of Bankers, in any event?

Would there have been any votes in it? No, of course not.

Can bankers count?

Can bankers be trusted?
