Mrs Monk created this Alternative Christmas Tree utilising an otherwise naked deciduous shrub which overhangs the public footpath. We predicted and anticipated that these toys would disappear one by one.
Mrs Monk constantly adds toys and other glittery items to her display, including a couple of crushed beer cans, on the basis that they would also shine in the moonlight.
This display has been in place for a couple of weeks and we are pleased to report that only the crushed beer cans have been removed by passers by. We like to think that a good natured passer-by might have removed the cans assuming that they were put there to ruin the otherwise child friendly display.
Ahhh...
